Watford V Leicester Match Preview.
Watford play Leicester at Vicarage Road tommorow in the Sky Bet championship in a match that will be televised on Sky Sports. Leicester are currently in a good run of form and lie in 2nd place in the table whilst the Hornets lie in7th one point outside the play off places. A win for the Hornets tomorrow could see them lie in 4th by the end of the day depending on results. During the 2012/13 season, Watford did the double over Leicester during the normal part of the season beating them 2-1 at Vicarage Road and the King Power Stadium. However, both of these teams will be remembered for the enthralling play off semi final between the two. With Leicester 1-0 up after the 1st leg all Watford had to do was beat Leicester by 2 goals to win. With Watford winning 2-1 after 90 minutes of the second leg, extra time seemed on the cards. However Anthony Knochaert went down far too easily when tussling for the ball with Marco Cassetti in the box but referee Michael Oliver awarded the penalty. Knochaert took the penalty himself but Manuel Almunia saved his first effort and then again saved Knockhaerts rebound. Knockhaert was distraught but was made to feel even worse twenty seconds later in what was probably the best counter attack ever experienced at Vicarage Road. Ikechi Anya bought down the ball after Marco Cassetti hoofed clear before running at Leicester and then playing the ball to Fernando Forestieri who took a touch before crossing the ball in the box which Jonathan Hogg knocked down to Troy Deeney who smashed the ball home on the half volley to spark wild celebrations among the Hornets and their fans. Leicester are managed by Nigel Pearson who returned for his second spell in charge of the club in 2011. Leicesters danger man tomorrow will be striker David Nugent who always seems to score against Watford. Nugent currently has eight goals this season and scored three goals in four games against the Hornets last season. It looks set to be a enthalling match at Vicarage Road tommorow.
For Watford, the Hornets have no new injury concerns. Almen Abdi and Tommie Hoban are still out whilst Nyron Nosworthy is still building up his fitness.
For Leicester, Paul Konchesy is a doubt after coming off at half time during Tuesdays Capital One Cup match against Fulham. Right back Ritchie De Laet is out.
