Referees for Ipswich and QPR matches confirmed.

The referees for this weekends Sky Bet Championship match at Vicarage Road against Ipswich and Easter Mondays match against QPR at Loftus Road have been confirmed. For this weekends match against Ipswich at Vicarage Road, the referee will be Lincolnshire referee Gary Sutton. This will be the third time that Sutton has officiated the Hornets since joining the football league list and his first visit to Vicarage Road as a referee. He last refereed the Hornets during the 2012/13 season when he officiated Watford’s 3-2 away win over Huddersfield in September 2012. This season, Sutton has refereed 27 matches (4 of which in the championship) and has handed out 80 yellow cards and 6 red as well as 10 penalties. A regular official in Leagues 1 and 2 this season, Sutton’s last championship fixture was Doncaster V Bolton on the 8th April 2014.

For Watford’s Easter Monday match away to QPR at Loftus Road, the referee will be Isle Of Wight based official James Linington. This will be the 9th time that Linington has officiated the Hornets since joining The Football League list. Linington has refereed the Hornets twice this season which came in the 2-3 home defeat to Derby back in October and the Hornets 4-0 home victory over Blackpool in March. Linington has officiated 33 matches this season (11 of which in the Championship) and has handed out 99 yellow cards and 6 red as well as 7 penalties. For the full appointments, please see below:
