Peterborough V Watford Match Preview.

12/04/2013 17:50

Watford travel to London Road tommorow to play Peterborough United in the Npower Championship with the Hornets having the backing of 3850 away supporters. Watford lie 3rd in the table whilst Peterborough lie in the bottom 3 just one point off safety. The Posh have been on a good run lately and have not been beaten in 8 games. Peterborough's best results of the season have been the two wins over Cardiff City. During the match between Watford and Peterborough earlier this season at Vicarage Road, the Hornets ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a 90th Minute penalty from Matej Vydra. I attended this match earlier this season and the Posh really made it difficult for the Hornets. Young striker Dwight Gayle will be Peterborough's Danger Man. The young striker who was signed from Dagenham and Redbridge has scored 12 goals this season for the club impressing massivley. Pundits thought they may suffer after George Boyd joined Hull City on loan but this has not been the case.

Team News

For Peterborough, Jack Payne will undergoe a fitness test after his ankle injury was not as bad as people first thought. If Payne is unfit Danny Swanson or Joe Newell could take his place.

For Watford, Fitz Hall is still injured but his injury is not as bad as first feared and could be back as soon as next week. John Eustace is back in training but is not fit enough to play. Nyron Nosoworthy, Tommie Hoban and Neuton are all out.
