Middlesbrough V Watford Match Preview.
Watford travel to the Riverside Stadium to play Middslebrough tommorow in a clash of two teams occupying play off positions. Middlesbrough currently lie in 4th postions and are 7 points ahead of of the Hornets at the moment. Although Watford do have a game in hand as their Boxing Day kick off with Bristol City was postponed to the 29th January 2013. During the clash at Vicarage Road in October 2012, Middlesbrough came out 2-1 winners. This was due to the fact that Matej Vydra was controversially sent off by referee Steven Rusthon for an apparent stamp when their was no wrong doing. Watford were on top up until then with Troy Deeney putting the hornets up inside the first minute. Marvin Emnes equalised for Boro and Scott McDonald scored the winner, late on in the second half.
Middlesbrough are without a host of key players. Mavin Emnes, Moustapha Carayol, Julio Arca and Curtis Main are all out. Andy Halliday is also out after having surgery on a broken nose.Josh McEachren may make the bench after recovering from a ankle problem and is not ready to start a game yet. Andre Bikey, Seb Hines, George Friend, Faris Haroun and Emmanuel Ledesma are all doubts but will be assesed before the game.
Watford welcome back goalkeeper Manuel Almunia and Swiss Midfielder Almen Abdi. Jonathan Hogg is out with a hamstring problem but looks set to be ready to return for next weeks clash at home to Huddersfield. Fitz Hall, Tommie Hoban and Neuton are all out of the game meaning that Captain John Eustace and Defenders Nyron Nosworhy and Lloyd Doyley look set to keep their places in the side.
