Young striker Bernard Mensah today joined Skrill premier side Braintree town on loan for one month. The first year proffesional came through the ranks at Watfords academy. He signed a proffesional contract during his 1st year in the Watford academy but extended it by three years last year. Mensah has struggled to get in to the first tea. However, Mensah has been on the bench on a few occasions and made his proffesional debut for the Hornets when he came on as s econd half substitue during the 1-0 defeat to Bolton in November. The loan deal will be a good chance of Menah to get some much needed game time and will hopefully improve his game so that he can come back and try to assert his place in the Watford team. Good luck Bernanrd.

Yesterday it was announced by Ossasuna that they had signed Javier Acuna on loan from Watford until the end of the season. The 25 year old striker joined the Hornets from Udinese in the summer on a three year deal. However, Acuna hasnt had a run of games in the side and has been dissapointed with the lack of game time and has now joined Ossasuna until the end of the season. He has made 6 starts and 6 substitute appearances since joining Watford scoring once. Good luck Javier!
