Hogg joins Huddersfield

Yesterday (Monday 29th July 2013), Watford midfielder Jonathan Hogg joined fellow championship side Huddersfield Town on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee. Watford were 'Very Reluctant' to sell Hogg but they had no choice after the midfielder asked to leave the Hornets so that he could move closer to his family. Hogg joined Watford in August 2011 from Aston Villa on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee which was rumoured to be £300,000. Since joining the Hornets, Hogg has made 84 appearances for the Golden Boys and has been a regular in the Hornets midfield. He will remembered for his determination and winning attitude as well as his assist for Troy Deeneys last gasp goal in the 3-1 win over Leicester in the play off semi final second leg to send Watford to Wembley when they looked certain to go out after a penalty was awarded to Leicester. It was rumoured for the past few weeks that Hogg wanted to leave Watford but it still came as a surprise when Huddersfield announced that they had signed the 24 year old. Good Luck Jonathan and thanks for you the memories.
