Woods joins Leyton Orient
Goalkeeper Gary Woods, has today (Thursday 17th July 2014) signing for Leyton Orient on a two year deal for a free transfer. Woods never made an appearance for the Golden Boys after signing a one year contract last year, and was the clubs third choice goalkeeper. The club had been in negotiations with Woods about a contract extension, however Woods has decided to leave the Hornets and join the League One Side. Woods started off his career at Cambridge United before joining Manchester United in 2007. He was released after one season by the Red Devils and subsequently joined Doncaster Rovers. After becoming first choice goalkeeper during the 2012/13 season for Doncaster, who he helped achieve promotion to the championship with, Woods decided to leave the club and after a successful trial, Woods joined Watford on a one year deal. He was signed as backup for Manuel Almunia and Jonathan Bond but never made an appearance for the Hornets. Good luck Gary!
