Watford play newly promoted Doncaster Rovers tommorow at Vicarage Road in the Npower Championship. Doncaster won the league 1 title last season and have started off the season with 1 win, 2 draws and 2 defeats meaning that they lie in 18th position whilst the Hornets lie in 8th. The last time these two sides played each other was in the 2011/12 season. During these two games the results wer 0-0 at the Keepmoat stadium and a 4 - 1 victory for the Hornets at Vicarage Road with Heroud Goulan being sent off for Doncaster. Doncasters danger man will be former Watford striker Theo Robinson. Robinson joined Rovers from Derby County in the summer and has scored 2 goals for his new club at the momen. Robinson came through the youth ranks at the Hornets and turned pro at the club. After three seasons with the Hornets he joined Huddersfield after three loan spells. Since then he has had spells at Milwall and Derby and was loaned out to Huddersfield towards the tail end of last season. With Watford looking for their first win in four games and Doncaster needing a win to propell themselves up the table, it looks set to be a intriguing match at Vicarage Road tommorow.
For Watford, Almen Abdi is still a doubt after he missed out Saturdays match against Charlton with a foot problem. Joel Ekstrand could also be fit to return. Iriney is also a doubt for the Hornets. Ikechi Anya and Lloyd Doyley could start after being rested on Saturday. Nyron Nosworthy and Tommie Hoban are still out.
For Doncaster, Frederico Madecha could make his debut after signing for Donacter today on a one month loan. Jamie McCombe is out for Doncaster.
