Cardiff currently lie in 1st position in the table and are seven points clear of second placed Hull. The Hornets are in 3rd one point behind Hull and 5 clear of Crystal Palace in fourth. If Hull slip up tommorow and the Hornets beat Cardiff, then Watford will move up to second position in the table. The clash see's ex manager Malky Mackay return after he left Watford to join Cardiff in the summer of 2011. Former Hornets Don Cowie, Heidar Helguson, Jordan Mutch, Tommy Smith and Andrew Taylor will also be returning to Vicarage Road. During the match earlier this season at the Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff ran out 2-1 winners. The Hornets were leading 1-0 during most of the clash. But after having 2 players sent off, Cardiff came back to win with a controversial penalty and a last minute Aron Gunnarson goal. Frazier Campbell will be one of the danger men for Cardiff. The Striker who signed from Sunderland during the January Transfer Window has been in good goalscoring form for the Bluebirds. Craig Bellamy and Peter Whittingham will also be dangers.

Team News

For Watford, Manuel Almunia could make a return for the Hornets after he has recovered from a hamstring injury and has trained this week.
