Watford V Bournemouth Match Preview.
Watford play AFC Bournemouth tommorow at Vicarage Road in the Sky Bet Championship in what will be their first home game of the season. Tickets for the game have sold out. Both teams won their opening games of the season with the Hornets beating Birmingham 1-0 whilst Bouremouth beat Charlton 2-1. Bournemouth were promoted to the Championship at the end of last season after finishing second in league 1. After a poor start to the season, Eddie Howe returned and steered them to promotion with Bournemouth going on long unbeaten runs. The two sides last met each other in the League Cup in 2004 with Watford winning 1-0. Bournemouths danger man will be Lewis Grabban. The 25 year old striker scored both goals against Charlton last week. He joined Bournemouth in May 2012 and has made 43 appearances for the club since then scoring 15 goals. With both teams wanting to get points on the board early on in the season, it looks certain to be a exciting affair at Vicarage Road tommorow.
For Watford, Ikechi Anya is a doubt after limping out of Watfords 1-0 win over Birmingham last weekend. Apart from long term absentees Tommie Hoban and Nyron Nosworthy who are recovering from long term injuries, the Hornets have no new injury concerns. Sean Murray will be challenging for a place in the starting lineup after an impressive performance in the 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers in the Capital One Cup earlier this week. Joel Ekstrand could also be in contention for a start after coming through 90 minutes against Bristol Rovers.
For Bournemouth, Mohammed Colibaly is a doubt after limping out of last weeks 2-1 victory over Charlton. Matt Richie and Wes Fogden are doubts. Joe Parlington and Josh Mcquoid are both out.
