Watford face Blackpool at Vicarage Road this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship with the Hornets looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Bolton last weekend. Watford currently lie in 12th position in the Championship and are 8 points outside the play offs whereas the Tangerines are struggling down in 18th place after a 16 game winless run. The Hornets could move up to 10th position in the table depending if they win and other results go their way.During the match earlier this season at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool ran out 1-0 winner thanks to a Tom Ince goal during a period of time where Blackpool were the form team in the championship. Watford will want to seek revenge over Blackpool especially as they have not beaten the Tangerines in eight games between the sides. Blackpool have endured a torid time of late in the championship and recently lost star player Tom Ince to Crystal Palace. Moreover, this season has also seen Blackpool sack their manager Paul Ince who could not do anything to hault the clubs slide down the table after a very good start. Many Blackpool fans knew that a slide would come especially as their squad is so thin but they never would have thought that they would have gone 16 games without a win. Barry Ferguson is currently interim player manager as the club search for a new boss. Their key player tomorrow will be Ricardo Fuller. The Jamaican striker has been excellent for the club this season and has been a shining light in what has been a difficult season. Another key player will be Stephen Dobbie. The last time Dobbie played against Watford, he scored 2 goals for Blackpool in their 0-2 win in April 2012 and was a menane to the Hornets defence all day.

Team News

For Watford, Almen Abdi, Fitz Hall and Lewis McGugan all miss out through injury. Defender Joel Ekstrand and midfielder Samba Diakite both miss out through suspension. Fernando Forestieri is a doubt. New signing Lucas Neill should be involved in the squad but is unlikely to start.

For Blackpool, new signing Kevin Foley could make his debut. Jack Robinson and Tony McMahon are both suspended whilst Tom Barkhuizen is out.
