Tozser, Diakite and Park all sign whilst Iriney and Fabbrini leave.

Watford were very busy on Transfer deadline day with 2 players coming in and 2 going out on loan. Two days before transfer deadline day, the Hornets signed Genoa midfielder Daniel Tozser on loan for the rest of the season. The 28 year old defensive midfielder joins the Hornets after a experienced career in Europe having played for Ferencvaros, AEK Athens, Genk and Genoa. Tozser has played in the champions league for Genk and was also vice captain for the team.

The Hornets also signed Mali defensive midfielder Samba Diakite on loan for the rest of the season from QPR. Diakite has been frosen out by Harry Redknapp this year despite being one of the better defensive midfielders among the squad. Diakite started his career at Nancy before signing for QPR on loan in January 2012. He scored against Arsenal and signed for the Hoops for £3.5 million pounds in the summer.

Watford also signed Arsenals South Korean forward Park Chu Young on loan. The striker has found it difficult to break into the Arsenal team and scored once in his seven appearances for the Premiership side. Park has a good recrod for South Korea scoring 23 goals in 61 appearances. Park also had succesful spells at FC Seoul and Monanco.

Two players leaving the Hornets are Iriney and Diego Fabbrini. Iriney joined RCD Majorca on loan for the rest of the season whilst Fabbrini joined Serie B Side Siena.
