Referees for next two matches announced.

The referees for this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship match away to Wigan Athletic and next Tuesdays Sky Bet Championship match against Blackburn at Vicarage road have been announced. For this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship match away to Wigan, the referee will be Northumberland official Scott Duncan. This will be the third time that Duncan has refereed the Hornets since joining the football league list at the start of last season. Duncan has refereed the Hornets once this season which came in the 1-0 away defeat to Blackburn Rovers. He has officiated 29 matches this season (7 of which coming in the Championship) and has handed out 56 yellow cards and 1 red as well as 9 penalties.

For next Tuesdays Sky Bet Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Vicarage Road the referee will be Surrey official Darren Sheldrake. This will be the 5th time that Sheldrake has refereed the Hornets since joining the football league list. Sheldrake has refereed the Hornets once this season which came in the 3-1 victory over Bristol Rovers in the Capital One Cup in August. He has refereed 26 matches this season (5 of which coming in the Championship) and has handed out 101 yellow cards and 7 red as well as 5 penalties.
