Referees for next two fixtures confirmed
The referees for Watford's next two matches against Gillingham and Arsenal have been announced.
Both games will take place at Vicarage Road and the Hornets kick off their first match of the week against League 1 side Gillingham on Tuesday night.
The Golden Boys take on the Gills in the EFL Cup second round and the fixture will be refereed by James Linington from the Isle of Wight.
Linington is one of 18 full-time referees who take charge of Championship fixtures, an initiative which was set up by the English Football League at the start of the season.
His last match in charge of the Hornets came in August 2014, when he was the man-in-the-middle for Watford's 4-1 victory over Leeds United. He awarded the Hornets a penalty on that day and sent off two Leeds players.
Linington has refereed 3 matches this season and he has handed out 16 yellow cards and 0 red.
For the Hornets' Premier League fixture against Arsenal on Saturday, Kevin Friend from Leicestershire will be the man-in-the-middle.
Friend refereed two Watford matches last season which came against Everton and Sunderland. Both fixtures were held at Vicarage Road and ended in draws.
The game on Saturday will be Friend's second match of the season.
The 45-year-old is a relatively experienced Premier League official, having officiated matches in the top-flight since September 2009.
Friend took charge of 31 matches in all competitions last season, handing out 100 yellow cards and 6 red.
