Referees for Millwall and Arsenal fixtures confirmed
The referees for Watford's upcoming away fixtures against Millwall and Arsenal have been confirmed.
For this weekend's FA Cup fourth round fixture against Millwall, which will be televised on BBC One, Martin Atkinson from West Yorkshire will be the man in charge.
Atkinson has refereed the Hornets once this season, which came in the Golden Boys' 4-2 win over West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium back in September. On that day, he handed out four yellow cards, as Watford
came back from 2-0 down to win 4-2, thanks to goals from Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney, Etienne Capoue and Jose Holebas.
The West Yorkshire official is an experienced top-flight referee, having officiated matches in the Premier League since 2005. He was also one of two English officials who refereed at Euro 2016 in France last summer.
Atkinson has refereed 22 matches in all competitions this season, handing out 86 yellow cards and one red.
For Tuesday's away fixture against Arsenal in the Premier League, Andre Marriner from the West Midlands will be the man-in-the-middle and this will be his first Watford match of the season.
Marriner refereed the Hornets four times last season, with Watford not losing any of the games he was in charge of.
The West Midlands official oversaw Watford's wins over Newcastle and Arsenal as well as the Golden Boy's draws with Southampton and Chelsea.
Marriner is also an experienced Premier League official, having taken charge of over 200 fixtures since he
started refereeing in the top flight in 2005.
This season, Marriner has refereed 21 games in all competitions, handing out 78 yellow cards and five red.
