Referees for Blackburn and Brentford matches confirmed.

The referee’s for this weekends match against Blackburn Rovers at Vicarage Road and Tuesday’s trip to Brentford have been confirmed by The Football League.


For this Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match against Blackburn Rovers at Vicarage Road, the referee will be Andy Madley from West Yorkshire. He has refereed the Hornets once this season, which came in the 1-0 away defeat to Charlton Athletic in September.


Madley, the brother of Premiership official Bobby Madley, has officiated 22 matches this season in the Football League, Capital One Cup and FA Cup, (8 of which in the Championship), handing out 58 yellow cards and 2 red.


The referee for Tuesday night’s Championship game away to Brentford will be Keith Stroud from Hampshire. Stroud has refereed the Hornets once this season, which came in the Golden Boys 1-2 defeat to Derby County.


Stroud has refereed one game in the Premier League this year, and has also officiated the Arsenal vs Southampton and Liverpool vs Swansea games in the Capital One Cup.


He has officiated 25 games this season including cup matches, (11 of which in the Championship) and has handed out 115 yellow cards and 3 red.
