Referee for Norwich City game confirmed.

30/11/2015 17:06

The referee for this weekend's fixture against Norwich City, has been announced by the Premier League.

The game, which will be played at Vicarage Road, will be refereed by Mike Dean and this will be the first time that he has taken charge of a Watford match this season.

Dean is a vastly experienced official, having taken charge of over 300 Premier League games since joining the Select Group referee list back in 2000.

You have to look back to the 2012/13 season to view the last time that he took charge of a fixture involving the Golden Boys. In October 2012, he was the man-in-the-middle for the Hornets' 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic, at the Valley. On that day, he sent off Fernando Forestieri for two bookable offences.

Dean has taken charge of 14 matches this season in all competitions, (12 of those coming in the Premier League) and he has brandished 50 yellow cards and five red.
