Referee for Manchester United game announced.

16/11/2015 20:26

The referee for this weekend's Barclays Premier League fixture against Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United has been announced.

Robert Madley from West Yorkshire will be the man-in-the-middle for the match which will take place at Vicarage Road and will be televised on BT Sport.

Madley has already made one visit to the Vic this season, having taken charge of the Hornets' 1-0 victory over Swansea in September. On that day, he sent off Valon Behrami, following a late challenge on the Swans' Andre Ayew.

The West Yorkshire official only joined the Select Group list in 2013, having refereed in the Football League for a few years, and he has taken charge of 26 Premier League games during his career.

Madley has officiated 11 matches this season, nine of which coming in the Premier League, and he has brandished 41 yellow cards and three red.
