Referee for Manchester City game confirmed.
The referee for this weekend’s Barclays Premier League game against Manchester City, has been announced.
The match, which will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, will be officiated by Mark Clattenburg.
Clattenburg is a vastly experienced official, having been on the Select Group list since 2004. He has refereed over 200 Premier League matches.
You have to look back to May 2008, to view the last time that Clattenburg took charge of the Golden Boys. He was the man-in-the-middle for Hull’s 4-1 victory over the Hornets in the Championship Play Off’s.
The County Durham based referee, has taken charge of two games so far this season, both of which in the Premier League, and has handed out 10 cards and 2 red.
Last season, he officiated 47 games in all competitions and handed out 172 yellow cards and 5 red.
