17/02/2016 10:22

The referee for this weekend's match against Leeds United, in the FA Cup, has been announced.

Michael Oliver from Northumberland is set to be the man-in-the-middle and this will be his first visit to Vicarage Road this season.

Oliver has already taken charge of the Hornets twice this season in the Premier League. He was the man-in-the-middle for the Golden Boys' 1-1 draw with Bournemouth in October and also took charge of the 1-0 defeat to Swansea last month.

The Northumberland referee joined the Select Group list of officials, who take charge of games in the Premier League, back in 2010 and has since officiated over 130 matches in the top-flight.

This season, Oliver has refereed 22 matches in all competitions this season and has handed out 74 yellow cards and 5 red.
