Referee for Crystal Palace match announced.

22/09/2015 09:20

The referee for Sunday's Premier League match against Crystal Palace, which will be televised on Sky Sports, has been announced.

Anthony Taylor from Cheshire will be the man in the middle and this will be the first time that he has took charge of a match involving the Golden Boys since the 2010/11 season.

The last Watford match that he took charge of was the Hornets' 2-2 draw with Norwich, at Vicarage Road, back in April 2011. He booked 4 players on that day.

The Cheshire official has been on the select group list since 2010 and he took charge of this year's Community Shield match between Arsenal and Chelsea.

This season, Taylor has refereed six matches and has handed out 20 yellow cards and one red.

Last season, the experienced Premier League referee officiated 39 matches in all competitions and brandished 160 yellow cards and nine red.
