Leicester V Watford Match Preview.
Watford head to the King Power Stadium tonight to play Leicester City in the first leg of their Play Off Semi Final match which will be televised on Sky Sports. The second leg will be played on Sunday at 12:30 at Vicarage Road. Watford did the double over Leicester this season winning 2-1 at Vicarage Road and at the King Power Stadium. Leicester finished sixth in the League and snuck in to the play offs on the final day of the season after beating Nottingham Forest 3-2 due to Bolton drawing 2-2 with Blackpool. The 3-2 Victory was only their 2nd win in the last 13 games of the season.Chris Wood and David Nugent will be the danger men for Leicester. New Zealander Wood has impressed massivley this season and has scored 20 goals this season (11 coming in a Leicester Shirt). Nugent has also impressed this season and has scored 14 goals.
For Leicester, Ritchie De Laet and Paul Konchesky have recovered from their respective injuries and could start against the Hornets. Also Loanees Michael Keane and Harry Kane have both been allowed to play.
For Watford, Manuel Almunia is a doubt for the Hornets after he pulled out of the starting line up before the match against Leeds with a suspected hamstring problem. However, Jonathan Bond can play after he has been fitted with a face mask to protect his broken nose which he suffered during the 2-1 defeat against Leeds meaning that he had to be streatchered off. The Hornets feared the worst for Bond but he only suffered a Broken Nose. Troy Deeney is suspended for the first leg after being sent off against Leeds so Alex Geijo looks likely to take his place in the side. Fitz Hall and John Eustace are both fit and could play a part.
