Leicester V Watford Match Preview.
Watford travel to Leicester tonight in the Npower Championship with the match being shown on Sky Sports. This could potentially be Watfords last away game of the season as if Watford win their final 2 games and Hull draw or loose both, then the Hornets would be promoted. However, if the Hornets lose tonight or against Leeds, the automatic promotion chase would be over with the Hornets having to battle it out in the Play Offs. Whatever happens, the season will be a huge achievment for Watford with most supporters being happy with a finish higher than 11th and would have not expected to be in this position at the start of the season. Leicester currently lie in 7th position and their form has not be great lately. The Hornets come into the match in 3rd position and won only their second game last weekend against Blackburn during the last 8 games. During the match earlier this season at Vicarage Road, the Hornets ran out 2-1 winners. Goals from Almen Abdi and Fernando Forestieri put the Hornets 2-0 up with 20 minutes remaining. David Nugent got one back in 3 minutes after Forestieri's goal. But the match ended 2-1 with Zak Witbread being sent off late on by referee Andy D'urso for a second yellow card. Chris Wood and David Nugent will be the foxes danger. Wood has been in prolific form this season and has scored 20 goals this season. Nugent has scored 14 goals and has had to play second fiddle in terms of scoring.
For Leicester, Nigel Pearson has a fully fit squad at his disposal. Zak Whitbread, Danny Drinkwater, Paul Gallagher, Richie Wellens and David Nugent are all available.
For the Hornets, John Eustace is back in training but is rated as doubtful. Fitz Hall is still not ready to play. Nyron Nosworthy, Tommie Hoban and Neuton are all out and are probably unlikely to play for the rest of the season.
