Yesterday (Monday 14th January 2013) evening saw Argentinian striker Fernando Forestieri sign for the club on a permanent deal from Udinese. After impressing in the first half of the season, the club have handed him a 5 and a half year contract. In his time at the club so far, he has shown Watford fans the potential he has especially with his skills. His skills and pace have been compared to Lionel Messi which is why Watford fans have called him 'Fessi'. He has currently scored 3 goals for the club. The young striker announced after the game that he was ' unbelievably happy' with the deal and expressed his delight about joining Watford permanently. I for one am certainly pleased with the deal. After seeing Forestieri on a few occasions, it is easy to see that he is a gamechanger wirth defenders not being able to cope with his pace and skills. If Zola is true to say that their is more to come from Forestieri then he is bound to be a fantastic player when he is older.
