East to referee Tottenham Hotspur match.

The referee for this weekend's game against Tottenham Hotspur has been announced by the Premier League.


The match at White Hart Lane will see Roger East be the man-in-the-middle and this will be the fourth time he has taken charge of a match involving the Hornets this season.


Previously this term, East has refereed the Hornets' 2-1 and 1-0 victories over Newcastle United in September and January, as well as the Golden Boys' 2-1 defeat to Leicester City in November.


East was promoted to the select group list of official's who referee in the Premier League back in 2013 and has since taken charge of over 40 games in the top flight.


This season, East has officiated 24 matches in all competitions and has handed out 71 yellow cards and one red.
