Brighton V Watford Match Preview.
Watford travel to the Amex Stadium today to play Brighton in the evening kick off in the championship. The match kicks off at 5:20 PM as Sky Sports are televising the match on Sky Sports 2. This will be Brighton's first game since the 18th of December as their match on the 22nd was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and because they did not have a fixture on Boxing Day. This is similar to the Hornets whose match on Boxing Day at Bristol City was postponed at 3:15 due to a waterlogged pitch. Brighton recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over the Hornets in September at Vicarage Road thanks to a goal from Watford fan Craig Mackail Smith from the penalty spot. Watford were unlucky in the game as they should of had 2 penalties but referee on the night Darren Drysdale did not think so. Brighton's danger men will be top scorer Craig Mackail Smith and ex Watford player Will Buckley who moved to the seagulls last season for a fee believed to be £1 million pounds.
For Brighton, Bruno, Andrea Orlandi and Gary Dicker are expected to be fit enough to play tonight. Otherwise, Gus Poyet has no new injury conerns.
Marco Cassetti will be suspended after picking up 5 yellow cards. If the Bristol City game was not postponed on Boxing Day, then Cassetti would of been able to play. The Hornets also welcome back Fernando Forestieri from injury and he is expected to play some part. Also Lloyd Doyley returns for the Golden Boys. John Eustace and Nyron Nosworthy are back in training but the match comes too soon for them.
