The goalkeeper who was signed on a free transfer (due to the fact that he was a free agent) from Arsenal during the summer of 2012. The 35 year old has impressed this season being a cool and calm head at the back making some important saves and displays. He was exceptional during the play offs making a tremendous double sa\ve during the second leg of the 3-1 win over Leicester and made numerous saves to keep the Hornets in the play off final at Wembley. As well as this, Almunia captained the side for most of the season due to the fact that John Eustace was out for most of the season due to injury.
